Bug Finger Puppets

Directions

1. Cut a piece of craft foam about 2 inches x 3 inches (this is the body of the bug and will go around your finger)*
2. Wrap the craft foam around your child’s finger and glue the two ends together to make a tube*
3. Glue a pom pom to one end of the tube*
4. Bend a pipe cleaner in half and glue it on the center of the pom pom for the bug’s antennas*
5. Glue on the bug’s eyes*
6. Cut out wings from the craft foam (experiment with different shapes and sizes for different bugs)
7. Glue on the wings*
8. Cut 6 equal pieces of pipe cleaner for the bug’s legs*
9. Glue the legs to the bug’s body*

*Adults should help young children with these steps
