Opossum Facts and Information |
Think an opossum is a giant rat? Think again! Opossums are actually relatives of the koala bear. Opossums are also very peaceful and clean animals, cleaner than your dog or your cat! And they eat all types of insects – cockroaches, beetles, crickets, etc., which means less bugs out there for you to bump into!
If you see an opossum near your house, just leave it alone – don’t approach it or try to pet it, especially if you see the opossum during the day.
